This model is the one of the most recent addition to the AL 13 Line. The Proton is another state of the art creation. Suitable as Liner or Shader. This frame design allows FK Irons to offer this machine as cutback setups (liner or shader). The frame Geometry is based on the AL 13 Galaxie II but with another unique design. It weighs 4.5 Oz. and is a very light everyday runner that will push all types of needle configuration.
The AL13 line Keeps getting better and better. For the first time, FK Irons has introduced to the market a new grade of aluminum in all their AL13 line 7075-T6 - Aircraft aluminum. 
This is one of the hardest grade of aluminum that is hard as steel. This makes the AL13 line the strongest and lightest machines available today with a feel and low vibration as a conventional steel machine. Therefore the transition from steel to these cutting edge machines will be nothing less than a great experience.
